BARBARA
Synopsis
I det herrens år 1760 kommer den unge præst, Hr. Poul, til Færøerne for at udøve sin hellige gerning. Han møder den unge, tiltrækkende præsteenke, Barbara, der - stik imod al fornuft - hensætter den ellers så jordnære Hr. Poul i en tilstand af rystende lidenskabelig besættelse. Og imod alle gode råd kaster de to sig ud i et stormende forhold, der i sin yderste konsekvens kommer til at koste det lille samfund en frygtelig pris!
