Synopsis
Han var verdens første store erobrer, og som 25-årig havde han 90 % af den kendte verden under sig. Han drev sin toptrænede makedonske hær i kamp mod den massive persiske armé og vandt fænomenale sejre fra Egypten til Indien - længere mod øst end nogen vestlig styrke havde været før. På otte år indtog han 35.000 km, og ved sit ultimative fald og sin mystiske død som 33-årig var han hersker af et imperium, hvis lige verden aldrig havde set.
