THE BEAVER
Synopsis
I The Beaver leverer Mel Gibson (dobbelt Oscar-vinder) en sublim skuespilspræstation som den depressive virksomhedsleder Walter Black, hvis familieliv, ægteskab og karriere skranter gevaldigt. En dag finder Walter en bæverhånddukke, som han begynder at kommunikere med sin omverden igennem, og sjovt nok gør den alting lidt nemmere. Lige indtil at bæveren pludselig beslutter sig for, at den også har noget at skulle have sagt! Multi-talentet Jodie Foster (dobbelt Oscar-vinder) spiller Walters kone og står desuden bag instruktionen af The Beaver. En varm film, der aldrig opgiver hverken humoren eller håbet.
