Synopsis
Diane er for nylig blevet enke efter 40 års ægteskab. Vivian nyder sine mænd uden forpligtelser. Sharon bearbejder stadig en gammel skilsmisse. Carols ægteskab går dårligt efter 35 år. De fire gamle veninder får vendt op og ned på deres liv på hylende morsom vis, da de i deres bogklub kaster sig over den berygtede ”Fifty Shades of Grey”. De finder ny kærlighed, får blæst liv i gamle flammer og inspirerer hinanden til at gøre det næste kapitel i deres liv til det bedste kapitel.
