BECK 42 - DEN FÖRLORADE SONEN
Synopsis
Ett käkben hittas i mitt ute i skogen. När resten av kroppen hittas visar det sig att den alldeles nyligen är flyttad och tillhör en Viktor Eklund, försvunnen sedan fem år. Hans mamma, kända författarinnan Cecilia Eklund, har precis lyckats lägga hans försvinnande bakom sig. Det visar sig att Martin Beck varit den, som för fem år sedan, hållit i utredningen om försvinnandet, men Alex tycker att den är ovanligt tunn, det fattas viktig information och inte lik Martins vanliga arbete. Men Martin är väldigt förtegen och ovillig att prata om fallet. Fredén däremot tvekar inte att skylla det dåligt genomförda arbetet på Martin. Det är mycket som inte stämmer. Martin är sjukskriven och mörkar för alla hur sjuk han verkligen är. Fredén däremot tar genast chansen och erbjuder Alex Martins tjänst. Han vill ha nytt blod i kåren. Men Alex ser ut att ha helt andra planer. Något som Josef uppmärksammar.
