Synopsis
En het sommar vid Hornstull, Majas pojkvän Olle är på väg till Indien. Själv är hon inte på väg någonstans. Hon vet inte ens var hon ska bo. Till slut hamnar hon hos Mattias, som hon inte känner och får sova i köket i hans sunkiga etta. Med jämna mellanrum invaderas lägenheten av Mattias galna polare och Maja känner sig allt mer desperat. Hon är trött på att aldrig hitta rätt i livet, trött på konsumtionssamhället och trött på pojkvänner som inte respekterar henne. Motvilligt börjar Maja intressera sig för Mattias och tillsammans med honom och hans kompisar drar Maja runt under en sommar månad på Södermalm. Någon föreslår en politisk aktion, och Mattias erkänner att han har drabbats av Babylonsjukan...
